Maison Maps is a brand operated by Maison Mess, established in The Netherlands and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 83472649. You can reach us at info.maisonmaps@gmail.com.

By placing an order you accept these terms together with our Shipping & Delivery, Returns & Refunds, Privacy and Cookie policies. Where the information shown for an individual order at checkout differs from a general statement on this website, the checkout information takes precedence for that order.

Maison Maps products carry original illustrations created by Maison Maps. We describe our products as accurately as we can, including materials, dimensions and care instructions.

Because screens differ and printing is a physical process, reasonable variation between the colours shown on your screen and the colours of the printed product is normal and is not a defect. Small variations in trim, placement and finish are also inherent to made-to-order production.

Most Maison Maps products are made to order (print on demand). Production begins after your order is placed and can start very quickly.

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we or our commerce platform confirm your order. We may decline or cancel an order — for example in the event of an obvious pricing error, suspected fraud, a payment failure, an incomplete delivery address, or where a product cannot be produced or delivered to your destination. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, you receive a refund of the amount paid for that order.

Prices are shown in the currency applicable to your market at checkout. Whether tax is included in the displayed price, and which shipping charges apply, is shown during checkout for your individual order.

Payment is required before production begins and is processed securely by our payment providers and commerce platform. See our Privacy Policy for how payment information is handled.

Maison Maps works with production partners in different regions, so the production and shipping country can vary by product and destination. Delivery dates given at checkout or in communications are estimates and not guaranteed delivery dates unless expressly stated otherwise.

Applicable shipping charges, where any apply, are shown at checkout before payment. Full details are in our Shipping & Delivery policy.

When an order crosses a customs border, import VAT, customs duties, carrier handling charges or other import-related fees may apply. Unless such charges are explicitly shown as collected during checkout, they are the responsibility of the recipient.

Aprons for European customers are currently produced and dispatched from the United Kingdom, which is outside the European Union. An apron shipped from the United Kingdom to an EU destination therefore crosses a customs border and may attract import VAT, duties and carrier handling fees payable by the recipient. Not all Maison Maps products for EU customers are produced in the United Kingdom; some are produced within the European Union.

You are responsible for providing accurate delivery information and a valid, accessible email address. Your email address may be required by carriers, fulfilment partners, customs processing partners or local delivery partners in order to complete delivery and customs clearance, including instructions for paying any import charges.

Failure to complete required customs formalities, or to pay applicable import charges within the deadline given by the carrier, may result in a shipment being delayed, held, refused or returned.

Because production starts quickly, cancellation requests must be submitted within 1 hour of placing an order. After that period, we cannot guarantee that an order can still be cancelled or changed. A cancellation request does not guarantee cancellation if production has already started. This does not affect any statutory right of withdrawal you may have.

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery, in original, unused condition. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for ordinary returns, except where required by applicable consumer law or where an item is faulty, damaged or incorrect. Please contact us before returning anything so we can give you the correct return address.

Damaged, defective or incorrect items are put right at no additional cost to you. Products personalised or made to your specifications may be excluded from change-of-mind returns where the law allows such an exception. Full details are in our Returns & Refunds policy.

All Maison Maps illustrations, artwork, designs, photography, text and layout are owned by Maison Maps and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights.

You may not copy, reproduce, scan, redraw, modify, distribute, publish or commercially resell Maison Maps artwork or website content without our prior written permission. Purchasing a product gives you ownership of that physical item for personal use; it does not transfer any rights in the artwork.

You agree not to misuse this website, including attempting to gain unauthorised access, interfering with its operation, scraping content at scale, or using it for unlawful purposes.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under mandatory EU/EEA and national consumer protection law.

Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, for losses not caused by our breach, or for business losses.

We are not responsible for delays or failures in performance caused by events outside our reasonable control, including carrier disruption, customs processing, extreme weather, strikes, production-partner failure or interruption of utilities and networks. We will inform you and, where the delay is substantial, you may cancel the affected order and receive a refund for it.

These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer resident in the EU or EEA, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.
